From Kim Davis

Today was a very eventful day with painting and sorting items at the central services. Two groups went over and painted at Miss Sylvie’s home and painted her living room, kitchen and her son’s room. One group in the morning and the other in the afternoon.
After the morning shift was through with Sylvie’s house, they got the privilege to serve in two different ways at the offices at Of One Accord. The group was able to clean the store and wash windows and was able to sort candy for food selves.
Because of all the rain, the teams doing the sports camps were canceled. Instead, they were able to go to a nursing home.
Yesterday, some of the teams had to stop at a convenience store to get some candles for Kelly Anderson’s birthday. Megann Coles and I were looking for some food to buy and Megann really wanted something that was only 50 cents more. A young girl named Kalli over herd us talking and her mom came up to us and gave us 5 dollars! She said that her daughter wanted to give it to us to help pay for our food. We wouldn’t take it at first but, after about 10 times of asking, “are you sure,” we finally took it. We saw the privilege of sharing to them what we are here for and they really saw God working through them to provide us with enough money to get the food that they wanted. It was a very great day.
