This team of 37 started as strangers from many states and denominations, but became one loving family serving Jesus as the week progressed!  It was wonderful to see God use them in the communities in Appalachia, and in the lives of fellow team members, praying together, worshiping together, encouraging each other and just having fun!

God showed us his power when one team of 5, (including 3 youths) led by a youth minister laid hands on a stranger who had a painful injury to his leg.  After praying, they watched the wound heal right before their eyes!!!!  PRAISE GOD!  As the youth minister explained boldly in our debrief that night: “I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF GOD AND THAT WHEN I ASK HIM TO HEAL THE SICK HE IS GOING TO DO IT!!!”

This wonderful team also helped to build a wall in a future women’s shelter, installed three windows in a food pantry/homeless ministry, cleared out/organized hundreds of lbs of material in a clothing depository, did beautiful yard work at the missionary camp and ministered to many grateful seniors in a nursing home and senior day care center.

It’s great to see God bring together people from many backgrounds and mold them into a tightly knit group serving Him!
