My family had the opportunity to serve the children of Churchhill, TN who attend the Day Camp at Providence Church. Our theme for the week was the Armor of God from Eph 6:10-17. It was a stretching experience to receive our assignment the night before and show up the next day to “run the show”. As a team, who had not known each other before, we pulled together and came up with a few ideas for games, crafts and even a couple of awkward songs. We made belts of truth, breastplates of righteousness, shoes of peace, shields of faith, helmets of salvation and pool noodle swords of the spirit! You can imagine the wonderful creative chaos! The kids were engaged and full of smiles. The wonderful people of Providence Church really have a heart for the kids of their community. They welcome the children in and invite them to get to know the Almighty and enter into a relationship with Him.   Sarah Y.
