Kaden Stratton- At the nursing home I met a young man named Howard Carter.  When we first got there I did not think I was going to be as touched as I was.   He told me the story of his life and how he was a gangbanger and lived a life of trouble.  We spent two hours talking and he kept telling me how he had nothing to show for his life.  This touched me deeply and showed me how short life really is.

Tim Pullin- Today I met another man named Tim and he shared with me his story about his message of marriage.  Currently engaged to what will be his 3rd marriage.  He told me how he nearly killed his 2nd wife and a man he caught her with. He later broke down and found God several months later. The lesson of the story is the Godly principle of being slow to anger.

Jackie Wassink- All of the ministries had such great synergy and communication to find the best ways to serve the homeless and others in humble circumstances.  The directors of each area showed such dedication and love for everyone they met and, even if it has to be “tough love”.  Even the volunteers seem to be permanent fixtures and allow those in need to keep their dignity and give them purpose and hope for the future.
