Mountian Lake Ranch = Ministering, Loving, Reaching out

This week we've been serving in Danridge, TN with Mountain Lake Ranch. The first picture here is of our fearless Project Leaders, Dave and Shelia with Betty in the middle.

Betty and her husband Tom own Mountain Lake Ranch where we have been staying, and where some of our teams have been getting to serve.

Many families from all across the United States have come together in Danridge this week to Minister, Love, and Reach out to the people all around this area in need of hearing and experiencing the love that Christ has for them. Our participants have an age range of 6-74! And all of them are coming together in beautiful ways to offer what they are able to the Lord and see what He has for them here. It has already been such an incredible time in just 2 1/2 days getting to witness what the Lord is choosing to do through all the willing and obedient hearts here!

We have broken into 5 teams and each team goes out into the community with each other everyday to serve. Dave, Shelia and I (the other leader & your mystery writer) have gotten to go around and take photos of 3 of our so far.

This first group has gotten to work at a Boy's and Girl's club leading a VBS for about 4 hours everyday. 4 hours with 60+ little ones!! Bless them and they're work there! It has been a challenging and rewarding time of getting to share the word of God and fun games with all the kids.

This second group has gotten to DO WORK at the Mountain Lake Ranch. Their groups has further broke into smaller teams who have spread out across the ranch to clean up the area, help build up the gym, and renovate a bathroom in one of the buildings visitors stay in. First you will see our 3 bathroom workers, Sheetrock Seth, Jack Hammer Jerry, and Reno Rod (Renovation Rodney). They got to see a display of the gospel as they put to death the old so that the new could be brought in. Wanda, who you will see in a pink shirt hammering in ceiling times, says getting to do construction work is one of her things, she doesn't even see it as work but as an opportunity to just spend time with our Lord and pray for everyone around her. But even though she doesn't "see it as work", let it be known that she does GOOD work.

This last group has gotten to work at MATS, a homeless shelter, where they have gotten meet the residence and serve by cleaning rooms for families.

We are excited to see what the Lord has in store for us the rest of this week and what the rest of our teams have been up to!!
