The thing that stuck out to me on this trip the most was the
word love. Everything that took place, everything that the Lord did from
the time we left home came about because of His love. Our mission team
came together in such an amazing way that can only be done under the
hand of God’s love. A team of students and staff of a Christian School
found understanding of what it means to be brothers and sisters in the
Lord, and the sense of family has only continued in the days since our
trip.

It was that coming together as family that we were able to
work together in the way which the Lord was able to open our hearts and
share that love with those that we came in contact with on out trip.
Love was present in building relationships and sharing our faith. Love
was present in reaching out by puppets and crafts at a nursing home.
Love was even present while landscaping yards, cleaning up houses and
everything else that the Lord put our hands to while we were there. All
praise of it all belongs to the Lord! The words of 1 Corinthians 13
describes how important love is and how that no matter what we do, if
love is not in the middle of everything we say and do, that it is of no
worth. I praise God for the love that He shared with our team, and how
He was able to use us, His vessels, in our obedience. Praise the Lord!

LOVE! That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it? Knowing
Jesus’ love for us and sharing it. I wanted to briefly
share about a “Loving Well” retreat I had the blessing and
privilege of participating in at the beginning of April.
God just keeps adding to all the things we learned that
weekend, and this is great addition!!! You folks are indeed LOVING WELL! Glory!
