My team had the wonderful opportunity to work with "Live It" which is an organization all about living the Bible. The Bible was never meant for us to just read it, but it is a guide for us to Live like Jesus everyday of our lives.

Live It is all about helping the widows and people less fortunate but they also believe that every person that they help, that that person can also turn around and help someone else. They say everyone has something to give and it may be as simple as making phone calls or cooking a family dinner. No gift or talent is too small and they want to empower the gifts that God has given each person.

One way that Live It raises funds is through a thrift store. Well, so many donations have come through their doors that they have to open a second thrift store. Currently they are working on cleaning out the old warehouse so that it can become a thrift store.  My team got to move piles of old barn wood outside so that they can start transforming the inside.

They had to move the wood and pile it up outside

And they did it while it was pouring rain
