We started our first day in 4 locations of ministry.  One group went to the food bank in Sevierville.  They came back for lunch and then dove into the painting job at the Ranch.
Another group went to visit Debbie and Mark.  They are an older couple, both blind.  They had a list of things the team could help them with, and Debbie wanted to learn to play the guitar.  This team took their lunch with them, and spent the day out in Rogersville.  They plan to return, to finish up some things.  Another team went to Morrisville to MATS homeless shelter.  They aided in moving the turkey hoods (there is a picture posted with an explanation in the photo file).   In the afternoon, the team removed carpeting from one of the family sized rooms.  It had bed bugs previously.  Carpeting is a safe place for bed bugs, so the last 3 rooms that had carpeting will have the carpeting removed.
This is a hard working and enjoyable team, gaining much from joining together and serving the Lord!
