Today was another exciting day in the life of Tennessee. This morning, we got the chance to go work at Central Services again. While we were there, we continued the project from yesterday afternoon (which was inspecting toys for Christmas presents for kids this winter. They were adorable little rocking “horse” type figures in all different animal shapes, if you get the point). Once we were done with that, we were supposed to go do the sports camps.
However, God had other things in store for us today. All throughout the morning it was down pouring! Instead of going to do the sports camp, we did a worship service at the nursing home. We all sang songs, then Matt and I gave our testimonies and DJ also gave a short little message to the people there. Once we were done, we were given the chance to spend time talking with the people that were there. Emma and I spent time talking to a lady, and she was incredible. She was constantly telling us how she was excited to be with Jesus one day and encouraging us, as she was proud to just watch us live out our faith. This all made for another awesome days and just went to prove that God is constantly working things out for the best for each of us every day.
