It’s a little Bible saying….
“Here am I, send me….”
But how could we imagine
Just how this trip would be?
Who would sign up? Who would go?
And could we raise the money?
And can you picture us in missions?
That idea is funny!
Jehovah-jireh God provides!
How could we ever doubt it?
An SUV, a van and trailer!
So great we want to shout it!
But would our hearts be ready
for such a grown-up task?
We’re just a bunch of kids, you know-
How could you even ask?
But once again the Lord came through
And pulled it all together!
Safe travels, funds, and laughter
And even perfect weather!
With Waverly behind us,
And Duffield up ahead
We hit the road and didn’t look back
Til it was time for bed!
And then the truth came crashing down-
Our sacrifice was real!
This wasn’t a vacation …
Though we didn’t miss a meal…
We didn’t know what would happen-
Didn’t know we would be awed!
We stepped out of our comfort zone
And into the hands of God.
